I too hate NetGear's Firmware for the R6300. Don't want to brick my router either. I am another R6300 user that would like to know if Netgear intends to put a patch out for the KRACK vulnerability or not. If so, when can users expect to get it? If not, then tell us so we can then move on from here (i.e. get another router).
