Greetings, Why is the 'Spooler Subsystem' constantly trying to access the Internet in Vista? Zone alarm stops it, but why is it even trying? I have no printer installed, and nothing waiting to print. Yes, I can confirm that as well. On my Win2K machine, when MS update KB951748 was installed, ZoneAlarm blocked internet access. You can resolve this by reducing the Internet Zone security level to Medium in Zone Alarm, or by removing the update.

Windows Firewall is good, but for 3rd party software firewall such as Comodo, TinyWall, ZoneAlarm, etc. is about to fade out because 3rd party software firewall shows more conflict than Windows Firewall.
